To list every single thing that has happened and tried will take forever and these are just the main events throughout my 2011.

The transition from a typical high school student to a freshman in university has had a major impact on me. From the girl who always come home from school to delicious meals laid on the table served with tv to the girl who would just skip meals because she's too lazy to cook, from the girl who doesn't clean at home because she's got a maid to the girl who cleans the toilet and bathroom every week, from the girl who would get lost in KB to the girl who's forced to and who could now drive around Bandar alone and find her way back, I'm proud to say I can survive on my own.

To be on your own, to live on your own, it actually changes the way you think and the things you like. I am quite different now from who I was in terms of preferences.

2011 has its bad and good.

But through the worst I've found good.

It wasn't much, didnt even reach 3 digits. Mainly because I started at the end of the month and it was just the beginning of the year.

How did I spend it?

I gave $10 angpau to my mom.

And donated some food and shampoos to CAS.

CAS is short for Care & Actions for Strays. As interpreted from it's name, it takes care of animals that have been dumped or abused and then abandoned.

Didn't realize how crazy is the increase in price for flowers during Valentine's until I went around looking one for my mom just now.

The normal price for a rose was $1.5 and today they are selling it at $15 =.= 10 times yaw!

Qualifying exams are just right around the corner.

I'm glad that we were given off days when we're not having any paper, unlike June, when we had to squeeze in Cambridge AS exams and A2 classes together....
Life is still going to be hectic for me as I haven't started much revision yet...Not to mention that I also have AS syllabus to cover.

I'll be occupied for the time being so I will be on hiatus until exams are over.

Sat for the Paper about a week later and passed with flying colors.

The whole thing took about 2 months and cost a total of $415.

Felt awesome cause all I did was to sit there and chill.

I have ALWAYS believed that photography is not all about the camera.

Having a DSLR is not the only solution to KABOOM-WAWW photos, which also implies that a $100++ camera doesn't necessary take BLEAGH photos.

I believe that there is a potential in every single camera, each has a unique function that the others don't.

And as has been pointed out yesterday by Mr.Ngiau, lighting is an important aspect in taking mind-boggling photos.

That's also not it, I believe a good photograph also relies on the skill on the photographer, that is, the photography skill and photo-editing skill.

Here is a good example.

So I bought this super mini UHU superglue thinking that " hey, this is cute! Since I don't need much of it, this size would do. "

And guess what, ONE squeeze only and that's it. It's not like normal superglue which is watery, this is actually gel-lish and yes, one squeeze doesn't really work here.

I've learned some pretty interesting facts regarding proboscis monkeys.

All thanks to @Mariahamran who visited the Kampong Ayer/Mangrove forest on a school trip yesterday and has brought back so many interesting....knowledge to share.

1. Proboscis monkeys are fragile animals, i.e, if you yell at them, they might actually end up dying of a heart attack.

2. Female proboscis are ONLY allowed to mate with the leader, but the leader is allowed/have to mate with 30++ other female monkeys.

3. Each mating session only lasts for 14 SECONDS,as there are so many other female monkeys waiting in line!

I changed my layout again.

Wasn't that impressed with my previous one.

This isn't anything WOW but definitely better.

So basically my first day of my official holiday is pretty productive. I watched the whole ANTM 14 in one day, yes people, applaud for me, and yeah the other thing that I can cross off from my list is this.

I'm telling you, I've stuffed my June holidays with hellalot of projects. There's so much to accomplish in so little time.
